Ministries
Diamond Valley United serves the community through a variety of ministries and programs designed to support people at different
stages of the life journey and different places along the Way.
“In life, in death, in life beyond death, God is with us.
We are not alone. Thanks be to God.”

Worship
All are welcome to join worship services in our peaceful sanctuary at 125 Royal Ave Sundays at 10:00 am. We look forward to sharing an uplifting and joyful worship experience with you, designed to nurture bodies, open minds and uplift spirits.

Music
Music fills our sanctuary on Sunday mornings, thanks to our accompanist Joan Liboiron and a variety of special guests who share their musical talent with us throughout the year. Want to host a concert here? Get involved in worship music? Please contact the office.

Spiritual Nurture
While not all people are religious, we believe everyone has a spirit that can be nurtured. Diamond Valley United seeks to support our community through spiritual growth. We nurture the spirit through: embodied prayer and practice in Sunday worship, weekly yoga classes, meditation circles, and Bible Study held jointly with Okotoks United Church Thursday mornings September to April. To learn more, contact the office.

Pastoral Care
Our Pastoral Care team offers caring support to our church community during times of loss and struggle. Whatever your stage of life or place along the Way, our team is here for you. The team hosts seasonal tea at a local seniors’ residence, writes caring cards to community members, and offers meals, visits and prayer shawls when needed.

Children & Youth
Children and youth are welcome in our services, where they can be a part of the community and learn the words and rhythms of worship. We include children’s time in the service when young people are present. We offer a supervised Children’s Corner with craft materials, allowing young people to be creative and come and go freely while still absorbing the service. We would love to grow our Children & Youth ministry through increased participation. Questions? Contact the office.

Wild Church
Wild Church is an outdoor worship experience that invites people to awaken love for self, earth and other living beings by recognizing the sacred present in all Creation. At Wild Church gatherings, we seek to connect with each other and with the living ecosystems around us through prayer, reflection, and wild wandering. Wild Church gathers monthly in changing locations. Learn more about upcoming events by subscribing to our email list. Join us. All are welcome in the wild.
Gleaners Kitchen Crew
Pie anyone? Our team of volunteers collects fruit in-season and comes together each fall to make an assortment of pies, sold during the fall and winter to help raise funds to support our ministries. We are grateful for their important efforts! Want to get involved? Contact the office.
